Terms of Service.

Last Updated: June 2, 2026

1. The Service

DieLadung provides zero-knowledge cloud storage. Files are encrypted on the client before upload and stored as encrypted objects. The service does not include document editing, collaboration tooling, or advertising.

2. Account Number & Vault Password

Your account number identifies the account. Your vault password derives the local encryption key and is not sent to us. You are responsible for keeping both safe. If either is lost, encrypted files may be unrecoverable.

3. Storage & Payments

DieLadung includes a free storage allowance and offers paid storage by selected GB amount. Paid quota is granted when payment is confirmed. Card and cryptocurrency payment options may be offered.

4. Content

You are responsible for the files you store. Because files are zero-knowledge encrypted, we do not inspect or moderate file contents. You must not use the service to store or distribute illegal material or malware.

5. Availability & Data Loss

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You should keep your own backups of important data. We are not liable for data loss caused by lost account credentials, lost vault passwords, browser storage loss, payment failure, or service interruption.

6. Refunds

Payments are final unless required otherwise by applicable law. Anonymous and cryptocurrency payments may be impossible to reverse.

7. Jurisdiction

The final company jurisdiction must be stated before commercial launch. Candidate jurisdictions include Iceland, Switzerland, and Portugal.
